This was a fireplace mantel I built for a customer out in Hooper. Its hanging on the wall with the rock in place already. Thats why they masked everything off to finish it. The interior designer showed me a picture of what he wanted So I copied it. The mantel is alder with a glazing over the finish. This was one of my favorite mantels. The section in the middle has been carved out to give it texture.
